With a cold front, which will hit our area throughout Friday and which will have moved on until Saturday morning, a significantly cooler weather phases will set in. This period of cooler conditions will prevail until next midweek. On Saturday, calmer conditions will set in behind this front, due to a strong westerly wind and slightly unstably layered air masses, sunny conditions will only gradually set in. Moreover, scattered showers will arise until midday. The snow line will range between 1300m and 1700m above sea level. On Sunday, the next cold front will hit us with further precipitation from midday onwards. The snow line will initially be located around 1500m above sea level and sink to the valleys until Monday morning. Winter weather conditions will prevail with humid cold north-westerly barrier effects on Monday. The peak of this cooling will be reached on Tuesday morning, residual snow showers will simultaneously abate. After a short weather improvement a warm front will approach on Sunday night. The warm front will result in only little precipitation but significantly increasing temperatures.
