Silvapark Galtür is a quality-tested Tyrolean ski resort and a true winter sports paradise for families. Whether you prefer skiing, snowboarding or freeriding: The six sectors of Galtür’s Silvapark offer something for everyone. Young skiers will particularly enjoy the “Zwergerlwelt”, “Abenteuerland”, “Actionpark” and “Heldenreich” areas.

At Zwergerlwelt, the little ones playfully learn how to ski. Once they have practised the basics at Bambiniland, they can proceed to the “Abenteuerland” area. Older kids and teens can show off their skills at Actionpark. Attractions like the “Speedway”, “Zeinispark“ or the mogul slope are only waiting for you to tackle them!

At “Heldenreich”, young freeriders can experience pristine powder and action-packed downhill rides. Talking about freeriding: On Siggi‘s Freeride Route at Silvapark Galtür, experienced instructors teach young winter sports athletes the basics of backcountry skiing.

The tobogganing run in Kappl is open every day from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The six-kilometre run takes you from the mountain station of Diasbahn cable car down to the valley. An action-packed toboggan ride is a fun experience for the whole family – during the day as well as at night.

Families and groups of friends all agree: Night tobogganing is one of the most fun winter activities. Especially if the toboggan run is more than seven kilometres long and – like the one in Ischgl – covers an altitude difference of 950 metres.

If the snowfall is too heavy, or if it’s too cold outside, it’s time to explore Galtür’s great selection of indoor activities. For instance, the Sports and Culture Centre is a great choice for water lovers. Plus, it also features tennis courts and a squash court.

Those interested in history and/or bouldering should visit the Alpinarium, where the little ones can also engage in a fun children’s rally.
