The programme at Galtür Nordic Volumes

The Kids & Juniors Race is for the youngest cross-country skiing talents – in freestyle or classic style. The distances range from 350 m (K7–K8) to 730 m (K9–S15), with small differences in altitude depending on the age group.

The Nordic Sprint Race in Galtür offers spectacular skating action on a 1,300-metre-long sprint course with 21 metres of elevation gain per lap. The race starts with an individual time trial, followed by exciting heats in knockout mode (top 16). Participation is open to public skiers and ÖSV athletes – the race also counts towards the Austria Cup and is FIS-listed.

The Cross Country Climb (skating) leads from Galtür through the snow-covered Vermunt Valley to the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe. There are three distances to choose from:
LIGHT route: shorter route with approx. 300 m elevation gain, ideal for getting a taste of mountain cross-country skiing
MEDIUM- Route: route with 27,9 km und 580 elevation gain
HARD route: long, challenging route with up to 900 metres of elevation gain – for experienced cross-country skiers
