The 6-kilometre-long trail leads from Wirl to Sedel through the narrow Vermunt valley. It is the entrance trail to Silvretta Bielerhöhe.
Description
The Vorderes Vermunt Trail leads from the start in Wirl to Sedel at an altitude of 1,752 metres. As the name suggests, the trail runs through the front part of the Vermunt Valley, which starts off narrow between the slopes of the Ballunspitze and Gorfenspitze peaks. Connecting trails downstream are the Galtür-Wirl Trail and Zeinis-Kops Trail, while the Sedlsee Trail and Bielerhöhe Trail lead upstream to the Silvretta Reservoir.
With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Wirl/Birkhahnbahn
