Summer Opening with ‘Herz & Gfühl’: A lively atmosphere with Schlager star Hansi Hinterseer in See im Paznaun

Summer, sunshine and the spirit of Schlager music: See im Paznaun kicked off the mountain summer in style with the grand summer opening at the Medrig Alm. Against the stunning backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains, Hansi Hinterseer provided the emotional highlight of an atmospheric day of concert on 27 June 2026, which brought together folk music, alpine joie de vivre and genuine connections between people.

At the summer opening in See in the Paznaun valley, Hansi Hinterseer transformed the Medrig Alm into a rousing open-air stage. Around 2,000 visitors celebrated the start of the Paznaun mountain summer alongside locals, families, pop fans and mountain lovers. With well-known hits, new songs and his usual approachable manner, Hansi Hinterseer took the audience on a musical journey full of a sense of home, light-heartedness and good cheer. In glorious summer weather and extremely warm temperatures, the Medrig Alm proved the ideal setting for a day full of music and alpine living. The combination of fresh mountain air, sweeping views and musical entertainment made the summer opening an experience that will be remembered for a long time to come.

An atmospheric start high above the valley

From 10.00 am onwards, DJ Alex got the guests at the Medrig Alm in the summer spirit. Sigrid & Marina then joined forces with Andreas Hastreiter to provide a varied musical start to the day, before the day’s main act took to the stage at 2.00 pm: Hansi Hinterseer. Set against the mountain backdrop of See, a special open-air atmosphere emerged, characterised from the very first moment by warmth, joy and shared enthusiasm.

With his usual charming manner, close connection with the audience and songs brimming with a sense of home, Hansi Hinterseer created a wonderfully lively concert atmosphere at the Medrig Alm. Amidst alpine meadows, a sun-drenched terrace and panoramic mountain views, the crowd sang along, swayed to the music and celebrated. The former skiing star and entertainer demonstrated once again why his music bridges generations: it tells of the mountains, of the simple life and of what really matters – community, nature and “heart and soul”.

Musically, Hansi Hinterseer took his audience on a journey through well-known hits and new tracks. The set list included, amongst others, “Amore Mio”, “I sitz auf en Stoa”, “Tiroler Berge” and songs from his latest album “Bärig – mit Herz und Gfühl”. The mix of familiar classics, catchy melodies and new songs created many emotional moments and a fantastic atmosphere at the Medrig Alm.

An atmospheric finale with DJ Alex and an after-show party

After the live concert, DJ Alex kept the visitors entertained until around 5.30 pm. The day was then rounded off with an after-show party featuring Seabr Böhmischen at the village bandstand, bringing the Summer Opening in See to a cosy and atmospheric close.

See im Paznaun kicked off the summer season in spectacular fashion with its Summer Opening. The combination of music, nature, mountain panoramas and a warm, welcoming atmosphere demonstrated once again just how varied the Paznaun mountain summer is: relaxed, authentic and full of special moments.
